Project Description

All American Mattress LA is a large-scale online store built for a leading mattress and bedding retailer based in Louisiana. The site was developed on WordPress using Divi, enhanced with custom-coded modules to support a growing inventory of mattresses, beds, and furniture products. Fully WooCommerce-enabled, the site offers a smooth browsing and buying experience for customers across multiple U.S. locations.

THE STORY

With decades of in-store experience, All American Mattress needed a strong online presence to reflect their local reputation and offer a user-friendly way for shoppers to browse and purchase products online. The client provided Figma layouts that required precision across breakpoints, high product volume support, and a balance between clean visuals and functional filtering for mattress types, sizes, and brands.

OUR APPROACH

    • Divi + WooCommerce Setup: Built the site using Divi Builder with WooCommerce integration, customized for performance and scale. 
    • Custom Code Enhancements: Added bespoke PHP and JavaScript logic to support advanced filtering, dynamic product info, and responsive behavior beyond Divi’s defaults. 
    • Bulk Product Management: Configured product import tools, attributes, and categorization for efficient handling of a large product base. 
    • Responsive Build from Figma: Replicated the design exactly from Figma across desktop, tablet, and mobile — ensuring the layout looked pixel-perfect at every screen size. 
    • Performance Optimization: Focused on fast loading and clean codebase — using lazy loading, minified styles/scripts, and optimized images. 
    • Conversion Optimization: Streamlined the cart and checkout flow, built easy-access product categories, and enabled calls-to-action for both online orders and in-store visits.
